Hollingdean Parking

Yellow Peugeot 107

  • Residents report that this Peugeot is often left in this position across the corner of the junction between Roedale Road and Hollingdean Terrace.

  • It is not a resident vehicle and is suspected to belong to a student living in the car-free development further towards Lewes Road. At the time of reporting, it had not moved in several weeks.

  • Parking in this manner blocks pedestrians from crossing at the junction, forcing them out into the road to pass around the parked vehicle.

  • This also blocks visibility for motorists attempting to drive through the junction, regularly contributing to near-misses with other motorists and pedestrians.

  • Parking in this manner is extremely dangerous and against the law, but does not appear to be being enforced.
