Hollingdean Parking

White Ford Transit Leader

  • WM70 EOX is a large, commercial vehicle which is often found parking within Hollingdean overnight and during weekends.

  • Residents report that it is not resident-owned, nor a visitor to local residents. It simply appears to be another vehicle using the area for 'free' parking

  • This is a common occurrence with larger vehicles; Brighton & Hove residents are unable to obtain residents permits for vehicles of this size, so will often use what little unrestricted parking there is left in the city to store their works vehicles.

  • This takes up huge amounts of already-limited space, making parking all the more difficult for local residents.

  • In this particular instance, there were also multiple reports of this particular vehicle blocking a disable bay where the tail of the vehicle overhangs, making it impossible for even a small car to fit into the disabled bay behind it.
