Hollingdean Parking

Yellow Seat Ibiza

  • FM57 CVX has an expired Zone G permit in the windscreen.

  • It seems that the owner of this Seat has opted not to renew their parking permit, and instead uses Hollingdean to park and store their vehicle, leaving extremely early each morning and returning again mid-afternoon.

  • The vehicle often does not move at all during weekends or public holidays.

  • Residents report that this vehicle belonged to residents within the neighbouring permit Zone G, on Hollingbury Road. As a result, the driver always parks as close as they can to the top of Hollingbury Crescent, at the expense of actual Hollingbury Crescent residents who are unable to find free parking for themselves.

  • At the time of the survey, this vehicle had been stored in Hollingdean in this fashion for at least the previous two years.

  • It is understood that this vehicle has since been replaced with GK55 VEF, owned by the same non-residents, and parked similarly every day.
