Hollingdean Parking

Gold Honda Civic

  • GY57 MGZ received more resident reports to date than almost any other vehicle included in this gallery.

  • The owner is not a Hollingdean resident but often leaves their car (unmoved) in Hollingdean overnight and particularly during weekends.

  • Presumedly this allows the owner to avoid paying for a permit in their own area.

  • The car is in a very poor state with significant and increasing body damage. One witnessed this vehicle hitting a lamp post whilst attempting to manoeuvre.

  • Multiple reports and complaints about the parking of this vehicle.

  • It is frequently left completely on the double yellow lines right at the top of Hollingbury Crescent during the weekend. This blocks visibility for other road users and is often parked over the pedestrian crossing. This is particularly problematic for residents at night.

  • It is noted that this vehicle does not display a disabled blue badge, and even if it did, this manner of parking remains illegal and dangerous.
