Hollingdean Parking

Green Volvo 940

  • This Volvo was mentioned by Hollingdean residents frequently during our survey.

  • The vehicle uses Hollingdean regularly throughout the week, whilst the owner is believed to continue on foot into Fiveways for work.

  • As a result, the owner makes a point of parking their (large) vehicle as close as they are able to achieve to Fiveways.

  • This adds additional pressure to the very congested corner of Hollingdean around Hollingbury Crescent, Adams Close, and Stanmer Park Road, whilst removing what little available parking there would otherwise be available to the residents.

  • Once their permit expired, the vehicle was subsequently stored in Hollingdean full-time, rarely moving from one week to the next.

  • The owner should be using suitable permits for the area that they are visiting.
