Hollingdean Parking

Blue Suzuki Swift

  • Residents report that the owner of HY14 OUS has been using the top end of Hollingdean (neighbouring Fiveways) as a permanent place to park and store their vehicle for the past year or more.

  • This Suzuki often does not move for several days or weeks at a time. When it does, it returns and is parked (again) as close to Fiveways as the driver is able to.

  • Rather than use the permit schemes available to the owner in the area where they live, they appear to prefer to use the 'free' Hollingdean parking nearby.

  • This adds unnecessary pressure to an already very congested area of Hollingdean around Stanmer Park Road, Adams Close, and Hollingbury Crescent, where residents struggle to find available space to park their own vehicles, due to owners using the area in this manner.

  • At the time of posting, this vehicle had spent some time parked on Hollingbury Road with a valid Zone G permit. This permit has since expired again and the vehicle is back to being left around Hollingdean.
