Hollingdean Parking

Yellow Skoda Citigo

  • HY63 NZU raised a spate of reports and complaints from residents during the course of the last year.

  • Believed to belong to a student living in Zone G who has (thankfully) since moved on.

  • As with many other vehicles, the owner preferred to attempt to use the 'free' parking in Hollingdean rather than use the permit scheme for the area that they live in.

  • This also meant that the driver would always opt to park as close as they were able to their own home: in the very congested area around the top of Hollingbury Crescent, Adams Close, and Stanmer Park Road.

  • This vehicle in particular is infamous for parking extremely inconsiderately, often a long distance from the curb and over double yellow lines.

  • Residents report frequently seeing this car bumping into other parked cars whilst attempting to manoeuvre into a parking space.

  • Residents also report often finding that they are unable to move their own vehicle due to how close this one was parked to theirs.

  • There is some speculation that this car is in some way related to WN06 MMF, another student vehicle which used the area similarly and caused similar damage due to inadequate parking and driving skills.
